Quote

A priced offer to do specific work, which the customer can accept or decline.

Updated

A quote sets out the work you are offering to do and what it will cost, usually line by line. Once the customer accepts it, it is the agreed basis for the job and the invoice.

A quote is different from an estimate: an estimate is an informed guess, a quote is a price you are committing to for the work described.

In this product a sent quote is emailed to the customer with a link, where they can choose optional items and accept it online.

For example: replacing a hot water system quoted as the unit, the labour, disposal of the old unit and an optional upgrade to a heat-pump model, valid for 30 days. The customer accepts the base price and declines the upgrade.

How Primemgr handles this

Primemgr builds quotes line by line with a tax code on each, optional extras and good-better-best options. The customer opens a link, chooses and accepts online, and an accepted quote becomes the invoice in one click with only the lines they agreed to.
