Primemgr includes a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server, so an AI assistant that supports MCP can work with your workspace: find a customer, check a job, look up an invoice.
Exactly the API, nothing more
Every MCP tool is an API operation. An assistant uses an API key you create, and can do only what that key allows: give it a key with view permissions only and it can look things up but change nothing. It can also propose a change for a person in your team to confirm, and nothing proposed happens until someone does. There is no raw database access and no arbitrary query tool.
The same safeguards
Calls through MCP go through the same authentication, permission checks, validation, rate limits and audit log as the API. A change an assistant makes is recorded as made by that key.
