Rego is everyday shorthand in Australia and New Zealand for a vehicle’s registration: both the registration itself and the plate number. Workshops use it to identify a customer’s car at a glance.
In this product, workshops record each vehicle’s registration alongside its VIN, make and model.
For example: a workshop books "rego ABC123" for a service, and the car’s history, previous jobs and customer come up from the plate number.
How Primemgr handles this
In Primemgr's automotive setup, vehicles are recorded against the customer with their registration, labelled "Registration number" ("License plate number" in the United States and Canada), plus the VIN.
