Exporting your data
Downloading everything in your workspace, whatever the state of your subscription.

Settings → Data lists everything you can download as CSV: customers, sites, leads, opportunities, notes, assets, items, suppliers, stock levels and movements, communication history, jobs, quotes and their lines, invoices and their lines, credit notes, payments, and which invoices each payment paid. Your team, subscription and our invoices to you are in a separate account record on the same page.
Every record is included except deleted ones, voided invoices and reversed payments too, so the files match your books. Each list shows how many rows it has, so you can check nothing was lost.
Exporting always works, even if your subscription has lapsed. Your data is yours.
Opening the files
CSV files open in Excel, Numbers and Google Sheets, and most job management and accounting software can import them. Moving to another system, export customers first, then the records that refer to them, such as jobs and invoices, so each one can be matched to its customer. Keep a copy of every file for your records, even after the move.
