Inspection forms and checklists
Building a form or starting from a ready-made checklist, filling it in on a job, and quoting what it finds.

Turn on Forms in Settings → Modules, then open Forms and choose Create a form. Start from a blank form or from one of six ready-made checklists: a vehicle safety inspection, an air conditioner service, a gas appliance check, an electrical safety check, a pest treatment record and an end-of-lease clean. Change anything to suit how you work, then publish it.
A form can ask for text, numbers, a choice from a list, yes or no, pass or fail, a rating, a date or time, a measurement, a photo, a video, a file or a signature, with section headings and instructions to lay it out. A measurement can have a limit: a brake pad below its minimum or a reading above its maximum is marked as a finding.
Filling one in
Start a published form from a job, and fill it in on a phone or a computer; photos and signatures are taken in the form itself. Answers are kept as you go, so a form can be finished later.
From findings to a quote
Anything marked as a finding can be turned into a quote in one step, with the reading written on the line, so the customer sees why the work is recommended.
Reports
A completed form can be downloaded as a PDF report with your logo, or emailed to the customer as a private link to that report. These checklists are for your own records: where a regulator issues its own certificate, such as a gas or electrical safety certificate, that certificate is still needed.
