Your schedule and online booking

Seeing bookings by day or week, and letting customers book themselves.

By PrimemgrUpdated How we research and check this

Bookings (or whatever your trade calls them) shows your diary by day, week or month, or as a timeline for each person, in your business’s own time zone. If you can only see your own bookings, the page says so.

Letting customers book online

Settings → Online booking is where you list the services a customer can book without ringing you. How long each takes, how much notice you need, and what has to be free all come from here, never from the booking form, so a customer cannot book something you cannot do. Tick Show on the booking page on each service you want customers to see; the others stay staff only.

Opening hours, and who can be booked

Two things on the same screen decide which times are offered. Opening hours: tick the days you are open and set the times; they are read in your business’s own time zone. Who and what can be booked: add yourself and your team, and any bay, room or vehicle a booking has to reserve, with their skills if a service needs one. Until both are set, the booking page shows no times, and the screen says which is missing.

Each service says what it needs, one line each: stylist x1 takes any person, and technician x1 (gas_safe) only someone with that skill. A time is offered only when something that matches is free, so nobody is booked twice.

Your booking page link is on the same screen. A customer who books gets a confirmation page with their booking, which they can add to their own calendar, and a link to change or cancel it.
