The problem
The service history lives on paper in the van or in one technician’s head. Nobody knows which units are overdue until the customer rings with a breakdown.
Primemgr keeps the equipment you service on each customer’s record: a heat pump, a vehicle, a hot water system, a phone. Turn Assets on in Settings → Modules for a list of every unit across all your customers.
Each unit
- Name, make, model, year, serial number and warranty end date, plus any fields your trade needs.
- Found again by anything printed on it: a search for “ab12cd” finds a registration written “AB 12 CD”.
- Jobs, forms and service agreements can be raised against it.
What is due
Set how often a unit is serviced and when it last was. The next due date is worked out from the last service, not the last due date, so a late service does not drag every later one forward. “Serviced today” moves it on.
The Assets list shows every unit with its next service, and filters to what is due in the next 30 days or already overdue. An automation can remind the customer when a unit comes due.
What it does not do yet
Schedules by usage (hours or kilometres) are recorded by the system but cannot yet be set from the screen, and there is no QR label printing.
Common questions
- Can I see every overdue unit across all my customers?
- Yes. Assets lists every unit, and one tap filters it to overdue.
- What happens to the history if a customer sells the equipment?
- The unit keeps its history; ownership is recorded as periods, not overwritten.
- Do I have to use it?
- No. Assets is optional; turn it on in Settings → Modules when your trade needs it.
