Progress payment
Payment in stages as a larger job reaches agreed milestones.

On larger jobs, progress payments spread the price across stages (for example on starting, halfway, and on completion) so neither side carries the whole cost of the job until the end.
For example: a $12,000 bathroom renovation is paid 20% when work starts, 40% when the rough-in is finished and 40% on completion, each stage invoiced as it is reached. When the customer adds a heated towel rail halfway through, it is quoted as a variation and added to the next stage’s invoice, rather than argued about at the end.
How Primemgr handles this
Primemgr records any number of part payments against an invoice and keeps the balance owing up to date. Staged progress invoices (a series of invoices against one job) are not built yet.
