The sheet a technician works from: the job, the customer, and space to record what was done.

A job card is what the person doing the work takes with them: the job, the customer and site, the details they need, and room to record parts used, time spent and notes. Traditionally paper; increasingly a screen.
For example: a mechanic’s job card for a service lists the car and the customer’s concerns, then gets the oil and filter used, the brake pad measurements and a note that the rear tyres are close to the limit.
