Quotes, invoices and getting paid
Quotes are priced line by line with the right tax code on each, and optional lines the customer can choose. The customer gets an email with a link, and can accept online. An accepted quote becomes an invoice in one click, with only the lines the customer agreed to, so nothing is retyped.
Every setting is still yours
The setup is a starting point, not a cage. Rename anything, add your own fields, change the stages, turn modules on or off. When the industry setup improves, your own changes are left alone.
Common questions
- How do I keep track of jobs waiting on a compliance certificate?
- Mark the job as needing a compliance certificate. It then has a stage of its own, Awaiting certificate, between the work and Done, so everyone can see which jobs are still waiting on paperwork, and the certificate details are recorded on the job.
- Where is the switchboard location kept?
- On the site, in a Switchboard location field. The next electrician sent there, including someone who has never been before, can find it without searching or asking the customer.
- Can customers pay an invoice by card online?
- Not yet. You record each payment as it comes in (bank transfer, cash or your own card terminal), and the invoice shows what is paid, part paid or still owed. Paying by card through the invoice itself, and syncing with Xero, QuickBooks or MYOB, are not available yet.
