In short

Primemgr is job management software for salons and other appointment businesses in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand: quotes customers accept online, scheduling and online booking, jobs, invoicing and a customer portal, set up with the fields and stages your trade uses. It costs one price per team, from US$45 a month for one person to US$155 for a team of 15, with the modules for each trade on every plan, extra modules on bigger plans, and no per-user fees.

A day in this trade

Clients book an appointment, often online. It is confirmed, they arrive, and it is completed. When someone does not turn up, “No-show” is recorded as its own outcome.

Set up for appointments

Customers are Clients, bookings are Appointments, and your team are Staff. Online booking and reports are switched on from the start, and every appointment gets an email confirmation and a reminder. Consultation forms are filled in on the appointment’s job, and every email and call with a client is kept on their record. There is no shared inbox for replies yet.

What you need to know about every client

Each client records their preferred staff member, their service preferences, any allergies and sensitivities, and the date of their last patch test.

Fewer no-shows

Every appointment sends a confirmation by email, and a reminder 12 hours before, outside quiet hours. Stages are Booked, Confirmed, Arrived, Completed, No-show.

Quotes, invoices and getting paid

Quotes are priced line by line with the right tax code on each, and optional lines the customer can choose. The customer gets an email with a link, and can accept online. An accepted quote becomes an invoice in one click, with only the lines the customer agreed to, so nothing is retyped.

Every setting is still yours

The setup is a starting point, not a cage. Rename anything, add your own fields, change the stages, turn modules on or off. When the industry setup improves, your own changes are left alone.

Common questions

Can I keep a client’s allergies and patch tests on file?
Yes. Each client record has a Preferred staff member, Service preferences, Allergies and sensitivities, and the date of their Last patch test, so whoever books the next appointment can see them without asking again.
Can clients book online?
Yes. Online booking is on from the start: a client picks a service and a free time on your booking page, the appointment lands on your schedule, and they get an email confirmation and a reminder before it.
Are there fees for new clients or per booking?
No. You pay one price for your team size each month, and that is all: there is no fee for a new client, for a booking, or per staff member within your plan. Clients book online on every plan.
Can clients message the salon through it?
Not through the app yet: there is no shared inbox, and a client’s reply to an email goes to the person who sent it. You can email a client from their record, every email and call is kept there, and each appointment gets a confirmation and a reminder.
