For a team of 3 to 15 Australian tradies, Primemgr costs one price for the whole team, from A$80 a month for 3 people to A$220 for 15, with the modules for its trade included; Tradify charges $52 per user on Pro and ServiceM8 prices by jobs, from free for 30 jobs a month. - A team that needs Xero or MYOB sync, card payments or a phone app today: Tradify, ServiceM8 or Fergus. Primemgr does not have those yet.
- A growing business that needs purchase orders, supplier price books and SWMS: Fergus.
- A team of 3 to 15 that wants one price for the whole team, with the modules for its trade: Primemgr, from A$80 a month for 3 people to A$220 for 15.

- Tradify Pro: 6 users at $52, so $312 a month ex GST.
- ServiceM8: set by jobs, not people. Premium, $149, covers up to 500 new jobs a month; fewer than 150 jobs fits Growing at $79.
- Fergus: not published; ask Fergus for a quote.
- Primemgr Team: A$115 a month.
Where each one is the better choice
- Tradify: Xero, MYOB and QuickBooks sync, card payments through Stripe, iPhone and Android apps, progress invoicing, recurring jobs and compliance certificates. For one person, Lite costs less than our Starter plan.
- ServiceM8: a free plan, the lowest cost for teams doing few jobs, an iPhone app, card payments, included text messages and accounting sync.
- Fergus: accounting sync, card payments, GPS tracking, price books, purchase orders, supplier integrations and health and safety paperwork including SWMS.
- Primemgr: one price per team with the modules for each trade on every plan, quotes with options customers accept online, online booking and a customer portal, each business's data in its own database, and a full export at any time. It does not yet take card payments, sync with accounting software or have a phone app.
How to choose
- Count your people and your jobs. Per-user pricing grows with your team; per-job pricing grows with your workload; per-team pricing grows only when you move up a team size.
- List what you need on day one. If it is accounting sync or card payments, that narrows the field today.
- Try the two that fit on a real job, using a free plan or a free trial where the tool offers one.
