For a team of six, per-user pricing costs A$312 a month on Tradify Pro, per-job pricing A$79 to A$149 on ServiceM8, and per-team pricing A$115 on Primemgr Team. Prices are from each company's own page, checked on 25 September 2026.
Trade and field service software is priced in one of three ways: per user, per job, or per team. Which is cheapest depends on how many people you have and how much work you do. We make Primemgr, which is priced per team; the figures for other tools below come from their own pricing pages, checked on 25 September 2026.
Per user
You pay for every person who logs in, so the bill grows with every hire. Tradify charges A$52 per user per month on Pro (ex GST), so six people pay A$312. Jobber sells plans for a set number of users and charges $29 a month for each extra one.
Per job
You pay for how much work you do, with unlimited users. ServiceM8 prices its Australian plans by new jobs a month, from free for 30 jobs to $349 for 1,500 or more. It suits a large team doing few jobs, and costs more as the workload grows.
Per team
You pay one price for a team size, whoever logs in and however many jobs you do, and the modules for your trade are included. Primemgr costs A$80 a month for up to 3 people, A$115 for up to 6 and A$220 for up to 15 in Australia (US prices: US$55, US$80 and US$155). The price changes only when you move to the next team size.
Which is cheapest for a team of six?
- Per user, Tradify Pro: A$312 a month ex GST.
- Per job, ServiceM8: A$79 a month up to 150 jobs, A$149 up to 500.
- Per team, Primemgr Team: A$115 a month.
- Per user in the US, Jobber Connect: $228 a month for six.
- Per team in the US, Primemgr Team: US$80 a month.
Per-job pricing wins when a big team does little work; per-user pricing wins for one person on a cheap plan; per-team pricing wins for a team of 3 to 15 doing steady work. Primemgr does not yet take card payments, sync with accounting software or have a phone app, so if you need those today, compare the tools that do.
