Jobber and Primemgr both run quotes, scheduling, jobs and invoices for service businesses. They are priced very differently: Jobber by plan and number of users, Primemgr by team size with the modules for each trade on every plan.
Jobber’s prices (US)
From Jobber’s pricing page, in US dollars, excluding sales tax. The first figure is monthly with no commitment; the second is the monthly equivalent when paid annually.
- Core, 1 user: $49 a month, or $29 billed annually.
- Connect: 1 user $139 ($99 annually), 5 users $199 ($149), 10 users $299 ($229), 15 users $399 ($299).
- Grow: 1 user $199 ($149 annually), 5 users $299 ($229), 10 users $399 ($299), 15 users $499 ($399).
- Plus: 5 users $499 ($399 annually), 10 users $599 ($449), 15 users $699 ($529).
- Extra users: $29 a month each.
Automated client reminders, quote and invoice follow-ups, checklists and QuickBooks Online sync start on Connect. Optional line items on quotes, two-way text messaging and custom automations start on Grow.
Primemgr’s prices (US)
- Starter, 1 user: $45 a month, or $36 a month billed yearly.
- Small, 3 users: $55 a month, or $44 a month billed yearly.
- Team, 6 users: $80 a month, or $64 a month billed yearly.
- Scale, 15 users: $155 a month, or $124 a month billed yearly.

What is different about Primemgr
- One price per team size, with the modules for each trade included, and extra modules on bigger plans.
- Your business’s data sits in its own database, not a shared table, and our support team cannot look at it unless you grant access, for at most four hours.
- Quotes with options and optional extras that customers accept online are on every plan, and online booking can be switched on.
- A customer portal: one private link where a customer sees their bookings, quotes and invoices.
- Export everything, free, at any time, including when you leave.

When is Jobber the better choice?
Jobber has native iPhone and Android apps; customers can pay invoices online by card or bank transfer, and you can take payment on the spot with Tap to Pay. It syncs with QuickBooks Online and Xero, offers route optimisation, sends automated reminders and quote and invoice follow-ups from Connect up, and has two-way text messaging and a large app marketplace. If you need online payments, accounting sync or route planning today, Jobber does those today; we do not, and accounting sync is not on our plans.
Moving from Jobber
Export your customer list from Jobber as a spreadsheet (CSV) and import it: you match its columns to ours, see a preview of every row, and duplicates are caught before anything is saved.
Quotes, jobs and invoices do not import. Finish the open ones in Jobber, or add the few still in progress by hand, and keep Jobber’s own export of your history for your records.
The 14-day trial is long enough to run a normal week of new work through Primemgr before you stop paying for Jobber.
