Housecall Pro sells three plans, each with a set number of users. Primemgr sells one price per team size with the modules for each trade on every plan. Which suits you depends mostly on how many people you have and which features you need.
Housecall Pro’s prices (US)
From Housecall Pro’s pricing page, in US dollars, excluding sales tax. The first figure is billed monthly; the second is the monthly price when billed annually.
- Basic, 1 user included: $79 a month, or $59 billed annually.
- Essentials, 5 users included: $189 a month, or $149 billed annually.
- MAX, 8 users included: $329 a month, or $299 billed annually, plus $35 a month for each additional user.
- Card processing: rates as low as 2.59%.
Flat-rate pricing, checklist automations, employee GPS tracking and QuickBooks Online sync start on Essentials. Recurring service plans, route optimisation, open API access and a sales proposal tool are on MAX.
Primemgr’s prices (US)
- Starter, 1 user: $45 a month, or $36 a month billed yearly.
- Small, 3 users: $55 a month, or $44 a month billed yearly.
- Team, 6 users: $80 a month, or $64 a month billed yearly.
- Scale, 15 users: $155 a month, or $124 a month billed yearly.

What that means at three team sizes
- On your own: Housecall Pro Basic $79 a month billed monthly; Starter $45.
- Five people: Housecall Pro Essentials $189 a month billed monthly; Team, for up to six, $80.
- Fifteen people: Housecall Pro MAX with seven additional users, $574 a month billed monthly; Scale $155.
Housecall Pro’s page gives an additional-user price only for MAX, so the fifteen-person figure uses MAX.

When is Housecall Pro the better choice?
Housecall Pro has a free iPhone and Android app with a Spanish language option, takes card payments in the field and online, and offers consumer financing. It syncs with QuickBooks Online, tracks technicians by phone GPS, optimises routes, runs recurring service plans, and has an open API on MAX. It offers live phone and chat support on every plan. If you need card payments, financing, accounting sync or route planning today, Housecall Pro does those today; we do not, and accounting sync is not on our plans.
Moving from Housecall Pro
Export your customer list from Housecall Pro as a spreadsheet (CSV) and import it: you match its columns to ours, see a preview of every row, and duplicates are caught before anything is saved.
Quotes, jobs and invoices do not import. Finish the open ones in Housecall Pro, or add the few still in progress by hand, and keep Housecall Pro’s own export of your history for your records.
The 14-day trial is long enough to run a normal week of new work through Primemgr before you stop paying for Housecall Pro.
